say, the business news is pretty amazing.  it is 9/11-like.  it’s not quite like watching the planes go into the trade center, but it has the quality of unreality.  or reality.  same difference.

I’m not so anxious about it because: (1) my work is pretty busy right now, and (2) I have no idea what any of it means for me.

right now I wish I had a big wad of cash to invest in stocks, as I suppose this would be the ideal time…  unless this is complete economic doom and the dow is going to 2000 and we’re going to all be wearing skins and living in aluminum shanties.  whatever happens in economic doom.   ya, if I had some excess cash, I would be investing it right now.
