so you know

25% of the brain is for visual perception. this is why I tidy up sometimes, and why I clean the toilets. we are what we see.

also, the brain is very plastic, so habits are easy to begin and easy to end. you could do something every day for years and it might seem immutable. it might seem like, you. then, after a couple days of not doing it, you don’t understand why you ever did, or why you did it that way. things are real mostly by momentum.

I’m going to turn 36 before long, and when I do, I’m going to arnold to celebrate my 34th birthday with my family. we decided to celebrate my 34th birthday b/c we’re pretty sure we didn’t celebrate it two years ago.
