I spent $35 on text messages in the last week but I just discovered I can get them for 2.5 cents instead of 15 cents if I buy a package. excitements. I could also get them for 1 cents but I don't think I need 1000.

I admit I pretend I'm Ted Berrigan sometimes. he's the only poet I pretend I am, even tho it's not like he's among the most important (or whatever) poets to me. tho of course he's a keeper. but yeah I pretend I'm him. I guess just because it gives me the excuse to do things that I would otherwise regard as unhealthy. and other things.

sometimes my mom sometimes will write me an email that sounds just like ted berrigan.

I was pretending that was a Ted Berrigan post for 30 seconds. buut you're more analytical.. I'm one to talk. ted would say 'cool, salt' Ted wouldn't do too well in ultimate. I mean, you;re saying cool salt but sort of in a conscious way, Ted would just go for the salt. I;m out of fish oil except for this free stuff I was given as a promotion and it's figuratively half salt in the bottle.. it's awful..

I agree with Maureen too about the good vs. great. but filler could be sub-good in some cases. I guess one would hope that a poet wouldn't intentionally include the sub-good. but then, intentions don't matter that much. not much practical difference between intentionally or unintentionally including the sub-good.

meanwhile I occasionally read a poem in a book that's a little too much of a "little pleasure." I don't want to feel like a chump about turning a page. I don't want to turn the page to some "little pleasure" and be like oh great now I get to turn the page again to get away from that little beastie. I'm no doubt drifting away from Maureen's intended meaning of "little pleasure" when I say these things.
